Lake Spivey Clayton County Launches Book Club

Book club committee chair Ron Swofford, club president Gina McCombs and club secretary Judith Bennett

Members of the Lake Spivey/Clayton County Rotary Club started a book club in February in the conference room of club president, Gina McCombs at the CPA firm, Loggins, Kerns, and McCombs in Jonesboro. The group agreed to meet every other month and opened with a discussion about The True Believer: Thoughts on the Nature of Mass Movements, by Eric Hoffer. For the April 2 meeting the group chose to read the Vietnam War classic, The Things They Carried, by Tim O Brien.
